DJ hire questions
How much does it cost to hire a DJ in Christchurch?
Every booking is quoted to the event: how many hours, the number of guests, the venue and how much sound and lighting you need. Send us the details and we'll reply with a tailored quote within 48 hours.
What's included when you hire one of our DJs?
A professional DJ who reads the room, plus music coordination before the event. Sound system, lighting and a microphone for speeches are added to suit your venue and guest numbers.
Can we choose which DJ plays?
Yes. Tell us if you'd like DJ D'Latino or DJ MJ when you enquire. If your preferred DJ is already booked, we'll suggest another DJ from our team, coordinated by the same production crew.
What music do your DJs play?
Open format: relaxed music over dinner, classics, current hits and Latin (reggaetón, salsa, cumbia and guaracha), adjusted to your guests through the night. You can send must-play and do-not-play songs.
Do you travel outside Christchurch?
Yes. We're based in Christchurch and play across Canterbury and New Zealand, including Wellington, Queenstown, Dunedin and Nelson.
